Nestled in a tranquil setting away from the hustle of the road, the hotel boasts a contemporary look that I found quite appealing, especially after a long day of exploring downtown Albany’s historic sites, including the stunning New York State Capitol Building. The highlight of my mornings was undeniably the complimentary breakfast, featuring a healthy mix of delicious favorites. While I would have loved hot options like omelets and waffles to start my day, the Chobani yogurt and fresh fruit certainly made up for it. For anyone interested in the breakfast scene, just keep in mind that choices may lean towards the simple side. What really stood out to me, though, was the kindness of the staff. Daeshawn and Tyrone greeted me with warm smiles and made sure all my questions were answered—even offering assistance when I needed it most. And let me tell you, when you’re on a road trip, such little gestures can truly make a difference. With the convenience of a free shuttle service to and from the airport, this hotel makes travel stress-free, ensuring you can catch a breath before your next adventure.
